Kurt Vile

Kurt Vile

Vile’s warm and easy-going style makes every show feel like a living room show. This indie/psychedelic rock staple is always a crowd pleaser and sold out his most recent show in Memphis last year. Catch this rare solo set at the headline fundraiser.

Stephen Malkmus

Stephen Malkmus

7:40 PM

A defining voice in 90s indie rock, Malkmus’ Memphis connections run deep - his band, Pavement’s, seminal album “Wowee Zowee” was recorded at Easley McCain Recording in 1994. He’s also a singer and guitarist with The Jicks and the Hard Quartet, and was a member of Silver Jews. This will be the first time since 1997 that he’s played live in Memphis (with Pavement) and the only time he’s performed solo in the Bluff City. Be there as he pulls from his vast, iconic catalog in the intimate Crosstown Theater.

Getting here & parking

Where is Crosstown Concourse?

Crosstown Concourse, the vertical village WYXR calls home, is located at 1350 Concourse Avenue, Memphis, TN, 38104, in the heart of the city’s Midtown neighborhood. Be mindful of possible road closures due to large-scale events in the area on December 6.

How will Memphis Marathon street closures affect traffic to and from Crosstown Concourse?

While most of the marathon traffic will be cleared up by 1pm, we recommend avoiding North Parkway until later in the afternoon. You can get to Crosstown Concourse from Cleveland.

Map (blue lines note marathon course and should be avoided):

There’s also handy tips from St. Jude.

Where Can I Park at Crosstown Concourse?

Crosstown Concourse offers a variety of paid and free parking throughout the perimeter of its campus. For minimal hassle, we recommend parking your vehicle in the garage located directly near the front entrance of the Crosstown Concourse Central Atrium.
